The Bureau of Recycling and Solid Waste works diligently to keep our city clean and sustainable. We manage a wide range of services, ensuring effective waste disposal, recycling, and community cleanliness.

Allentown residents may pick up City-issued recycling bins for free at our office, located at 641 S. 10th St. Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm

CHRISTMAS COLLECTION SCHEDULE

Trash and yard waste collections are canceled on Wednesday night, December 24.
Please hold your trash and place out for collection on Sunday night, December 28.
A maximum of 10 bags of trash or 4 (32 gallon) trash cans and 1 bulk item will be accepted.
*Residents in the Wednesday Night YELLOW Yard Waste Zone, only*
Please hold your yard waste and place out for collection on Thursday night, December 25.

NEW YEAR’S COLLECTION SCHEDULE

Trash and yard waste collections are canceled on Wednesday night, December 31.
Please hold your trash and place out for collection on Sunday night, January 4.
