Allentown Adventure Camp

2023 ALLENTOWN ADVENTURE CAMP

Allentown Adventure Camp is a partnership between City of Allentown - Parks & Recreation Department, Wildlands Conservancy, and the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) to provide a camp for Allentown youth (age 13-15) that are residents of the City of Allentown to engage in outdoor activities in the Lehigh Valley and surrounding areas.

The camp is run by multiple staff members from City of Allentown and DCNR.

Daily camper meeting location – Parks & Recreation Office - 3000 Parkway Blvd., Allentown, PA 18104. Camper arrival at 9:00 a.m.


Tuesday, July 18th: SUP & Kayaking  Location: Campers meet at Recreation Office, program at Nockamixon State Park, Quakertown, PA. Parent Pickup: 3:30 PM @ Recreation Office.
Wedsday, July 19th: Rock Climbing & Creek Swim  Location: Campers meet at Recreation Office, program at Ralph Stover State Park, High Rocks Overlook, Pipersville, PA. Parent Pickup: 3:30 PM @ Recreation Office.
Thursday, July 20th: Disc Golf, Archery, Animals, and Survival  Location: Campers and drivers meet at Recreation office, Morning program at Lehigh Parkway Disc Golf Course, 1628 Park Dr, Allentown, PA 18103; Afternoon Live Animal Program and Survival Skills at Pool Wildlife Sanctuary, 3701 Orchid Place, Emmaus, PA 18049.  Parent Pickup: 3:30 PM @ Recreation Office.


**Spots are limited. Once all spots are full, you will be placed on a waiting list and will be contact if any spots open.
