  • Being counted in the census is vital to our city's success.
  • A good census count in Allentown means good roads, better schools, and fair representation for our community, both now and in the future.
  • Answering the census is important, easy, and safe!

With the aim of attaining an accurate population count, the City of Allentown has been gearing up for Census Day 2020. Preparations include:

  • Establishment of the Allentown Complete Count Committee (CCC)
    • Next meeting of the Allentown CCC:

    • Free garage parking at 325 N. 5th Street

  • Meeting of the Sub-Committee on Neighborhood Groups and Community-based Organizations

  • Partnership with the Census Bureau
    • Aside from being a member of the Allentown CCC, the Census Partnership Specialist has a regular presence at City Hall in Allentown, and will respond to questions and concerns regarding Census 2020 and it's job recruitment activity. The City has also designated a computer station in City Hall specifically for Census-related matters.
