About

In April 2024, Allentown received $50,000 from Bloomberg Philanthropies to administer a Youth Climate Action Fund to support youth and youth-serving groups in designing and implementing climate action projects. In January 2025, Allentown received an additional $100,000 to support even more youth to realize their visions for Allentown. This round of funding aims to activate young people ages 15 – 24 to co-design, co-produce, and co-govern urgent climate solutions in cities across the globe. Allentown joins the program alongside over 90 cities from around the world, spanning across five continents.

Early 2025, Allentown was selected to continue the Youth Climate Action Fund in 2025 with an additional $100,000 in funding. >/p>
