Christmas Tree collection will be on your recycling nights for the weeks of January 10 and January 17, 2021.  Please remove all decorations, tree stands and bags prior to setting it out for collection. In addition, residents are permitted to put out other yard waste on their designated recycling night for the weeks of January 10 and January 17.  

****If you have a REALChristmas tree that has fake snow sprayed onto the tree (flocked), please call the Bureau of Recylcing and Solid Waste for disposal Options.

If your christmas tree or yard waste is missed during these 2 weeks, please contact the office at 610-437-8729 the following day to report the missed collection. 

Yard waste should be placed out on your recycling night during the regular season:

  1. Yard waste, branches, trimmings, etc. should be placed in a separate can or bundle
  2. Please use containers with yard waste stickers for your grass and other yard waste.
  3. Branches should be 5 inches or less in diameter.
  4. Do not place yard waste out in plastic bags.
  5. Do not use a City issued recycling bin for yard waste collection, you must purchase your own container that is 32 gallons or less.

The following dates are weather permitting and could be changed based on the needs of the City.

Saturday, December 5, 2020 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Saturday, January 9, 2021 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Saturday, February 6, 2021 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Saturday, March 6, 2021 10:00 am - 12:00 pm


Mulch loading services by city staff are suspended until further notice. Residents may continue to self-load mulch for free.

Additional Information
