May 23, 2025 – The City of Allentown is excited to announce the second round of awardees for its Youth Climate Action Fund. This initiative, supported by a $100,000 grant from Bloomberg Philanthropies, empowers young people aged 15–24 to design and lead climate action projects that make a meaningful impact in their community.
The Round 2 selection committee has awarded grants to 15 new youth-led projects, each receiving funding of up to $5,000. These creative and community-rooted efforts span education, environmental stewardship, public art, sustainability, and advocacy.
Round 2 Award Recipients:
All funded projects are expected to be completed by the end of 2025, and additional award announcements are expected in the coming months.
