Registration Incentives for Classics & Cruisers

The Classics & Cruisers on Hamilton car show on Saturday, July 21, 2018 is revving-up incentives to encourage early registration for the event.

Sponsored by the City of Allentown, America On Wheels Museum, Friends of the Allentown Parks and the Hamilton District Main Street Program, “Classics & Cruisers on Hamilton” will re-live the days when Hamilton Street in Allentown was the hub of gathering to park and show off your vehicle. People came to Allentown from all over to gather along Hamilton Street to enjoy camaraderie and a mutual interest in cars and in the city.

The show will feature antique, classic and muscle vehicles, and will pay homage to the days of cruising, with cars spanning from 6th to 9th streets on Hamilton and along Seventh Street in the area of the monument. The show will include judging and awards.

Special registration events will take place at the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs game along the concourse at Coca-Cola Park on Friday, June 1 from 6:00pm – 8:00pm, and at America On Wheels for a special “Morning Brew Cruise” on Saturday, June 2 from 8:00am – 10:00am.

Anyone who completes registration before June 15 will be entered into a drawing for two rounds of golf at Allentown Municipal Golf Course, and will also be invited to attend the special, free pre-registration reception at America On Wheels on Saturday, June 23, 2018. This reception will include a free self-guided tour of the museum, lite refreshments, and time spent together with other car enthusiasts.

For more information or to register, please visit www.cruisingintoallentown.org or www.facebook.com/cruisinghamilton The cost is $20.00 per vehicle in advance, and $25.00 per vehicle after July 15, 2018.

The car show will directly benefit two Allentown-based non-profits: America On Wheels Museum and Friends of the Allentown Parks.
