05/22/2018

The City of Allentown Department of Parks and Recreation is proud to present the next installment of the 2018 Movies in the Park Series with the showing of “Finding Dory” at Cedar Beach Pool at Cedar Creek Parkway located at 101 N. Ott Street on Saturday, May 26. This installment is a Flick-n-Float for all ages. Admission is $2.00 for residents and $4.00 for non-residents. Proof of Residency is required to receive the resident admission rate.

Participants are welcome to bring their own floatation device to be able to enjoy this event from inside the pool. The Cedar Beach Pool concession stand will be open during this event with food items such as hot dogs, soft pretzels, pizza, ice cream, chips, nachos, water, soda and Slush Puppy iced drinks.

“Dory is a wide-eyed, blue tang fish who suffers from memory loss every 10 seconds or so. The one thing she can remember is that she somehow became separated from her parents as a child. With help from her friends Nemo and Marlin, Dory embarks on an epic adventure to find them. Her journey brings her to the Marine Life Institute, a conservatory that houses diverse ocean species.”

The approximately 97-minute movie is rated PG and will begin at dusk (approximately 8:45pm).

The rain date is Sunday, May 27.
