Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive in the City of Allentown is closed between 10th Street and 15th Street workdays from 4am until 5pm.

The road is closed due to Lehigh County Authority (LCA) construction to make improvements to the water system, replacing the Schantz Spring line.

It is anticipated this work could require up to seven business days, concluding on or about December 5.

The LCA Customer Service Office located at 1300 Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive is closed during construction for safety reasons. The office will remain closed for walk-in service through January 14, 2018.
