Christmas trees and other yard waste will be collected in the City of Allentown the weeks of January 9 and January 22. Christmas trees and yard waste should be placed at the curb on the customer’s recycling night. The tree should be taken from the stand and all decorations should be removed. The tree should not be placed in a plastic bag.

The city's Main Yard Waste Site at Oxford Drive and Fish Hatchery Road will be open on Saturday, January 7 from 10am to 12pm for yard waste drop off.

TV and Electronics Recycling – Proof of Residency Required

TVs and Electronics may not be placed out for curbside collection. Allentown residents may bring their computers, keyboards, monitors, electronics, printers, scanners, laptops and televisions* for recycling at the Allentown Yard Waste Site at Oxford Drive and Fish Hatchery Road on:

• Saturday, January 7 10am to 12pm

*Limit: One projection TV or two regular TVs per vehicle, per day.
