Due to the difficulties traveling around the city caused by the near record snowfall, the Allentown Bureau of Recycling and Solid Waste is cancelling trash and recycling collection Wednesday night, February 3, 2021. This affects Center City and part of the East Side.
Trash and recycling collections will resume in this area on Sunday night, February 7. Ten bags of trash will be allowed.
Please do not shovel snow in the roadways as this causes more delays in getting your street cleared and getting your trash and recycling collected.
The Allentown Recycling Drop-Off Center on Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive next to the 15th Street Bridge remains closed until further notice.
