Trash and recycling collection was cancelled on Monday night, February 1.
This affects residents from 11th Street west to the city limits and from Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive north to the city limits.
The next trash collection for this area will be Thursday night, February 4. Ten bags of trash and one bulk item will be allowed.
For residents who normally recycle on a Monday night, recycling collection will resume on Monday night, February 8.
Waste Management cancelled the trash and recycling collections in the city’s Sunday, January 31 trash and recycling collection area.
This affected Center City residents from Front Street to 11th Street, from Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive north to the city limits and parts of the East Side.
The next trash and recycling collection for this area will be Wednesday night, February 3. Recycling bins, ten bags of trash and one bulk item will be allowed.
Due to the current snowstorm, the city’s Recycling Drop-Off Center on Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive next to the 15th Street Bridge is closed until further notice.
