The more than $3.3 million reconstruction of the West Gordon Street Bridge begins on Thursday, February 20.
According to PennDOT, tree clearing activities are scheduled to begin tomorrow along the bridge that spans Jordan Creek. Over the next week motorists should anticipate short term lane closures on Gordon Street.
The roadway will be closed, and detours will be set in place during the actual bridge construction period.
Kinsley Construction, Inc. from York, PA was the successful low bidder on the project. It is anticipated to be completed by November 19, 2020.
