Construction and infrastructure work will necessitate street closures in portions of the city.

8th Street will be closed from Walnut Street to Hamilton Street from Monday, January 7 through Friday, February 8 for a crane to set up for breakdown and removal of an onsite crane and for installation of steps on the Five City Center project. This will be a 24 hour closure each day for the length of this construction.

Twenty-Third Street from Chew Street to Gordon Street will be closed on Thursday, January 3 and Friday, January 4 from 6:00am to 8:00pm for a crane to access Muhlenberg College for HVAC work. The street will be open at night. Emergency vehicles will have access if needed.

Cleveland Street will be closed from S. 5^th Street to S. 6^th Street from 7:00am to 4:00pm from Monday, January 7 through Friday, January 11 for utility trench restoration.
