Due to the delivery of the support beams for the 15th Street Bridge and Ward Street Bridge reconstruction project, the Allentown Recycling Drop-Off Center at 1400 Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive will be closed to the public during the week of June 10 and will reopen on Saturday, June 15.

The Drop-Off Center will be used by construction crews to stage and place the 160 foot spans into position across the Little Lehigh Creek.

• Residents who use the Drop-Off center are asked to hold their recycling until the Drop-Off Center reopens.

• Businesses who are unable to hold or store their recyclables should call the Bureau of Recycling and Solid Waste at 610-437-8729 to make alternate arrangements.
