The Advanced Mentoring Enrichment Network (A.M.E.N) Initiative will be holding an open house and orientation session on its upcoming Midnight Basketball season on April 21 at 7pm at the William Allen High School Gym at 106 N. 17th Street.

The A.M.E.N initiative is a mentoring program focused on educating, engaging and empowering Allentown’s youth.

Before getting on the court, the Midnight Basketball program offers a group workshop session to discuss the importance of sportsmanship, accountability, verbal etiquette, and interpersonal skills.

The program provides a safe and fun environment for student athletes to play basketball on Friday nights until midnight.

Boys and girls ages 12 to 17 who live in the City are encouraged to attend the information session. Interested mentors and coaches are also invited. The spring midnight basketball season begins May 5.

The A.M.E.N Initiative is looking for individuals to join the team as a volunteer coaches. Interested mentors are encouraged to attend the information session as well.

La iniciativa Advanced Mentoring Enrichment Network (A.M.E.N) tendrá una sesión informativa sobre la próxima temporada de ‘Midnight Basketball’ o Baloncesto de Medianoche el 21 de abril a la 7pm en el gimnasio de William Allen High School en 106 N. 17th Street.

La iniciativa A.M.E.N es un programa de tutoría enfocado en educar, involucrar y empoderar a la juventud de Allentown.

Antes de ir a la cancha, el programa Baloncesto de Medianoche ofrece un taller para hablar de la importancia del espíritu deportivo, la responsabilidad, la etiqueta verbal y las habilidades interpersonales.

El programa brinda un ambiente seguro y divertido para que los atletas jueguen baloncesto los viernes hasta la medianoche.

Varones y hembras de 12 a 17 años que viven en la ciudad están invitados a participar en la sesión informativa. También se invita a los mentores y entrenadores interesados. La temporada comienza el 5 de mayo. 

La iniciativa A.M.E.N está buscando personas para unirse al equipo como entrenadores voluntarios. Se alienta a los mentores interesados ​​a que también asistan a la sesión informativa.
