The Allentown Bureau of Recycling and Solid Waste is announcing its Thanksgiving Trash and Recycling Collection schedule.

• There will not be any trash or recycling collections in the City of Allentown on Thanksgiving night, Thursday, November 22.
• Next trash collection will be on Monday night, November 26 and ten bags of trash will be allowed.
• New for Thursday recyclers. The next recycling night will be Thursday night, November 29. Residents may also put out your last yard waste at this time.

As a reminder, the last week of curbside yard waste collection is Sunday, November 18 to Friday, November 23. Put out yard waste on your recycling night.

The last regularly scheduled day for the Yard Waste Site to be open at 1401 Oxford Drive is Monday, November 19 from 12:00pm to 4:00pm.
