Bomb Squad

The responsibility of the Bomb Squad is to render safe, any and all improvised explosive devices (I.E.D); suspected I.E.Ds; hoax devices; explosives; found military explosive ordnance, to impound found pyrotechnics (fireworks), or any other explosives The Bomb Squad will provide bomb and explosive disposal services within the City limits, when requested by the Incident Commander. Bomb and explosive disposal services and/or advice are also provided outside the City when requested by a surrounding jurisdiction's Police Department, Fire Department, or County Emergency Management personnel.
