Program Description:
The Maternal and Child Health Program strives to improve the health of infants, children, adolescents and pregnant women by providing preventive health education, and promoting positive health behaviors and the enforcement of the child care ordinance.

Primary Services:

• Prenatal, Newborn and Child (birth to age 18) home visitation, health education and health advocacy
• Home visits for at-risk families with infants and children
• Home visitation prenatal education and support program for at-risk pregnant women
• Agency staff in-services about infant and child health
• Sudden Unexpected Death in Infancy (SUDI) initial bereavement counseling and referral
• Advocacy and referral assistance
• Child care center inspections
