The City of Allentown is now accepting applications for Love Your Block grants to support small-scale vacant lot improvement projects in the 1st and 6th Wards. Selected projects may receive up to $3,000 to help transform public lots into welcoming, community-centered spaces.
As part of the City of Allentown’s Love Your Block program, the City is inviting residents and community groups to apply for funding to transform public vacant lots into welcoming, community-centered spaces with a focus on the 1st and 6th Wards.
Beginning Friday, February 13, 2026, residents and community organizations may submit proposals for small scale improvement projects within the area bounded by Union Street, Riverside Drive, and American Parkway, focused on beautification, community engagement, and neighborhood pride.
Selected projects will receive up to $3,000 in funding and resources to help bring their ideas to life.
