The City of Allentown is now accepting sealed bids for the sale of a prime real estate property located at 325 W Hamilton St, Allentown, PA 18101.

March 3, 2025 – The City of Allentown is now accepting sealed bids for the sale of a prime real estate property located at 325 W Hamilton St, Allentown, PA 18101. The property, previously home to the Allentown Bus Terminal, includes an on-site parking lot with space for 15 vehicles and offers a significant investment opportunity. The minimum bid is $500,000, and the property is being sold "AS IS".

 

Interested parties must submit their sealed bids (see the attached document) by March 28, 2025, at 2:00 PM to the City of Allentown’s Purchasing Office, located at 435 Hamilton Street, Room 234, Allentown, PA 18101. Late submissions will not be considered.

 

The City has scheduled open houses for prospective buyers to tour the property:

  • Wednesdays: 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM
  • Saturdays: 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM

 

Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope by the deadline. Email submissions will not be accepted. Bids lower than the minimum advertised amount will be rejected. The property is being sold "AS IS", with no warranties or guarantees provided by the City.

The City of Allentown and/or City Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The highest bid does not automatically guarantee the sale. The City will select the bid that is most advantageous to its interests. The City of Allentown is exempt from the Realty Transfer Tax; the buyer is responsible for paying the full tax amount.
