How to properly clear your driveway

It is advised that you wait to clear your driveway until the plow trucks have come through your neighborhood.The illustration above shows how to properly clear/remove the snow from your driveway; this will give the snow plow a place to ‘empty’ before reaching your driveway.

In cases of medical emergencies, CALL 9-1-1
The Communications Center will call for plowing assistance as necessary.

It is advised that you wait to clear your driveway until the plow trucks have come through your neighborhood.

Requests for missed alley’s will not be taken until 48-hrs AFTER the snow event has ended. This is to allow the crews time to complete the main and secondary areas.

During emergency situations, the City will utilize an automated call system, CodeRED, to notify its residents. The data used is maintained by Lehigh County, you can update your information
 by visiting Lehigh County Emergency Management.
