The Allentown Police Department Warrant Squad is responsible for serving warrants for traffic and non-traffic summary cases and criminal offenses.
Frequently, they assist the Lehigh County Office of District Attorney and other agencies with across state or out-of-state prisoner extraditions and transports. Warrant officers are called upon to transport prisoners for judicial proceedings.
They must maintain all of the warrant files and keep them updated.
