The city of Allentown’s new East Side Fire Station is open. Mayor Ed Pawlowski, Interim Fire Chief Bob Kudlak, retired Fire Chief Bob Scheirer and members of City Council cut a ribbon today to officially open the North Irving Street facility.

The City of Allentown streets listed below are scheduled for snow removal. The areas are being posted for No Parking from the start of the work period until the snow is removed. Once the snow has been removed, vehicles can return to the area.

The Snow Emergency in the city of Allentown was lifted at 2pm on Sunday, February 16, 2014. Parking is once again permitted where legal on snow emergency routes.

A Snow Emergency remains in effect in the City of Allentown. It will stay in effect until further notice. That means that parked vehicles must be moved from all Snow Emergency Routes and should not return until the Snow Emergency is lifted.
