Mayor Ed Pawlowski and company officials cut the ribbon today for new and expanded facilities at OCS Logistics on Mitchell Avenue on the city's South Side.

OCS Logistics purchased and began renovations on a 275,000 sq/ft warehouse on a 15 acre site.  Phase One of 84,000 sq/ft included raising the existing 16-foot roof height to twice its current height, insulating wall panels, adding dock doors and climate controls, resurfacing existing flooring, replacing interior lighting and much more.

OCS Logistics brings approximately 60 jobs to the city.  Further expansion could result in as many as 100-to-120 employees at that location.

One of the more well-known OCS Logistics clients is Dannon, a name that is synonymous with high quality ingredients and high quality products.

O-C-S’s expansion into the city is a further example of the wide and diverse economy Allentown offers to many industries.  Allentown continues to grow employment across many sectors.
