The Cancer Prevention Program provides FREE screening services and education programs to address cancer issues in our community. The goal of these services is to reduce incidence (number of new cases developed) and mortality (number of deaths) of those cancers that have been identified as preventable or more successfully treated if detected early. The program focuses on the most common forms of cancer – breast, cervix and gynecologic, colon/rectum, ovarian, prostate and skin.
