COVID-19 Vaccine

Free COVID-19 Vaccines for Individuals 6 months of age and older:

  • COVID-19 vaccine is available on a walk-in basis on Fridays ONLY (9:00 AM - 3:30 PM)                                                                 
  • Location:  Allentown Health Bureau, 245 N. 6th Street, Allentown PA 18102
  • Walk-in only.  No appointment necessary.  
  • Please remember to bring your white CDC vaccine card if coming for your Second or Booster shot.
  • IMPORTANT...Individuals under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
  • If you are a City of Allentown resident with health conditions and mobility issues preventing you from reaching a vaccine clinic, please call the Allentown Health Bureau (610-437-7760 x0) to arrange for EMS to visit you to provide you with a COVID vaccination.
  • Available Primary and Booster Vaccines:
    • Moderna (for ages 18 and older):  Bivalent booster only
    • Pfizer (for ages 12 and older):  First and Second doses, and bivalent booster
    • Pfizer (for ages 5 - 11): First, Second and Booster doses
    • Pfizer BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine (for ages 6 months - 4 years old): which includes 2 doses plus a bivalent booster
  • Since their rollout, the COVID-19 vaccines have provens safe and effective.  The new bivalent boosters are updated versions of the previous Moderna and Pfizer-NioNTech vaccines tailored to combat the BA.4 and BA.5 omincron subvariants which are currently the dominant strains across the globe.
  • NOTE:  Johnson & Johnson is no longer available.
