Vendor Workshop

2019 Workshop Opportunity

In an effort to generate local vendor participation, the City will be holding a workshop called Doing Business with The City of Allentown. This is a great opportunity to learn about:

  • How to do business with the City of Allentown.
  • Registering on Public Purchase and how to navigate the site.
  • The importance of commodity codes .
  • The difference between Quotes, Bids and RFP’s .
  • The importance of local vendors, and local participation.
  • How to read a purchasing document, and the submittal process.

Help the City help you and your business. This workshop is also an opportunity for you to provide feedback on ways we can better address the needs of local vendors.
