PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE is hereby given that the Zoning Hearing Board will meet in Council Chambers, Room #118, City Hall, 435 Hamilton Street, Allentown, PA on Monday, June 29, 2015, at 7:00 p.m. for the purpose of hearing the following appeals.
ALL APPELLANTS MUST APPEAR AT MEETING
1. A-67025 1025-1033 Linden Street Special Use Appeal of Pastor Rosa Pruna to convert vacant office into PLACE OF WORSHIP, being a use permitted by Special Exception under Article 1313.01.D. & having insuff. off-street parking (9 additional spaces req.; 0 additional spaces proposed), located in a High Density Residential (R-H) & Traditional Neighborhood Development Overlay (TNDO) District.
2. A-67031 1416 South Jefferson Street Appeal of Dennis & Tracey Bartholomew for variance to demolish existing garage and CONSTRUCT GARAGE (12 ft. x 22 ft. x 12 ft. high), having insuff. side yard setback at north side (5 ft. req.; 0.0 ft. proposed), located in a Medium Density Residential (R-M) District.
3. A-67043 643-723 West Emaus Avenue Appeal of Allentown School District for variance to ERECT FLAT DIGITAL WALL SIGN (5 ft. x 8 ft.), at front of 1944 South Church Street (Hiram W. Dodd Elementary School), exceeding maximum allowable number of signs (3 permitted; 4 existing; 5 proposed), and exceeding maximum allowable square feet, (90 sq. ft. permitted; 101 sq. ft. existing; 141 sq. ft. total proposed), located in an Institutional and Government (I-G) District.
All persons interested or those desiring to protest against the allowance of the above appeals may appear and be heard. The appeals listed above may be reviewed at the Zoning Office, 4th Floor, City Hall, 435 Hamilton Street, Allentown, Pennsylvania.
