The Mission of the Allentown City Council is to provide, in a democratic and transparent manner, efficient and effective services which will make the City of Allentown a better place in which to live, work and play.

Council Accepting Applications to Fill Vacancy
Pursuant to the Charter and Council rules, Allentown City Council will accept applications to fill the vacancy through the close of the business day on Thursday, November 20, 2014. The applications should be addressed to City Council and can be emailed to Deputy City Clerk, Tawanna Whitehead, or delivered to the City Clerk's Office. Applications should consist of a resume and statement stating the reasons you will bring value to the City as a councilperson. The applications will become public documents.
