Following an at least 27-inch snowfall, the second largest snowfall in the city’s history, the Allentown Streets Department will begin snow removal operations from city streets on Wednesday, February 3 at 7 a.m.

Due to the current snowstorm, the City of Allentown has approved the cancelling of trash and recycling collection Tuesday night, February 2.

Trash and recycling collection was cancelled on Monday night, February 1.

Mayor Ray O’Connell is declaring a Snow Emergency in the City of Allentown effective at 7:00 a.m. on Monday, February 1, 2021.
