The contractor on the Eighth Street Bridge construction project in the city of Allentown will have flaggers restricting traffic on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive at Eighth Street on Wednesday, April 6 between 9am and 3pm to remove bridge overhang jacks.

The Eighth Street Bridge in the city of Allentown will be closed to traffic from 9am to 3pm on Monday, April 4 and Tuesday, April 5 weather permitting to accommodate bridge reconstruction.

Road projects in the city of Allentown will affect traffic on the Eighth Street Bridge and portions of MLK Drive and Hamilton, Sixth and Linden streets this week.

Sixth Street in the city of Allentown from Hamilton Street to Linden Street and Linden Street from Sixth Street to Seventh Street will be reduced to one lane of traffic from 8:30pm on Sunday, March 13 to 5am on Monday, March 14.

Hamilton Street from Fifth Street to Law Street in the city of Allentown will be reduced to one lane of traffic in each direction from 8am to 3pm daily from Monday, February 29 to Thursday, March 3.
