The city of Allentown is prepared for Saturday’s expected snow storm.

Sixth Street in the city of Allentown from Hamilton Street to Linden Street will be reduced to one lane of traffic on Friday, December 16.

The following street disruptions will be happening next week on the PPL Project on Union Street in the city of Allentown.

Traffic restrictions are in effect on Linden Street.

Eighth Street in the city of Allentown from Union Street to Walnut Street will be reduced to one lane of traffic from 8am to 4pm Monday, October 10 through Friday, October 17 for installation of PPL conduit.

PennDOT reopened the rehabilitated Eighth Street Bridge over the Little Lehigh Creek, Harrison Street, Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive and Fountain Park this afternoon.

Motorists will find lane restrictions and road closures in the downtown this week.

Hamilton Street in the city of Allentown from Seventh Street to Sixth Street will be closed to traffic from Monday, September 19 to Thursday, September 22 from 9am to 3pm each day.

The contractor for the Eighth Street Bridge rehabilitation project in the city of Allentown will temporarily reopen Harrison Street while Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive is closed for bridge repairs.
