The non-profit Arbor Day Foundation is recognizing Allentown as a Tree City USA for the 37th year!

Work is scheduled to begin Monday on a $1.8 million project to repair and resurface Tilghman Street between 10th and Front streets in the city.

The Wolf Administration announced today that work is scheduled to begin next week on a $3.6 million project to repair and resurface Union Boulevard in Allentown and Bethlehem.

Sixth Street in the City of Allentown from Hamilton Street to Walnut Street will be closed Thursday, April 13 from 9am to 3pm for an emergency crane repair for the Tower 6 Project.

Martin Luther King Jr. Drive in the City of Allentown will be closed from 24th Street to St. Elmo Street weekdays from 7am to 3:30pm from Tuesday, April 11 through Tuesday, April 18.

Sixth Street in the City of Allentown from Hamilton Street to Walnut Street will be closed to traffic on Tuesday, April 4 from 12 noon until 10pm

The City of Allentown’s Pothole Hotline is operational for the 2017 season.
