New Enterprise Stone & Lime Inc., the contractor for the American Parkway Bridge project, will be performing 100-year pipe inspections next week which will require various single-lane closures within the project limits. Portions of American Parkway, Dauphin Street, Front Street, Sumner Avenue and Ridge Street will be affected. The work is scheduled beginning Monday, December 21 through Wednesday, December 23. The inspection schedule attempts to minimize impacts during peak travel hours.

The new American Parkway Bridge connecting the East Side to Center City opened to traffic on November 24.
