The President’s Council is comprised of the Presidents of the City of Allentown neighborhood groups. The council meets the third Thursday of every month from 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. at City Hall, 5th Floor conference room. The current President is Dennis Pearson who can be reached at email@example.com The Council is an opportunity for leaders to learn valuable information they in turn share with the members of their neighborhood group.
The Allentown Presidents’ Council hosted its 30th annual Leonard Buck Awards Dinner and Fundraiser on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at the Fearless Fire Station located at 1221 S. Front Street. This event is one of the few times all neighborhood group members come together socially. The event provides an opportunity to meet committed neighborhood leaders. The dinner is always held the 3rd Thursday in April.
The City of Allentown has over 20 dynamic neighborhood groups dedicated to improving and or maintaining a high quality of life in their neighborhood. Neighborhood associations are a great way to get to know your neighbors while working to improve community. Join your neighborhood group and feel free to visit others.
