Several streets will be closed in Downtown Allentown on Saturday, June 11 for the 9th Annual Blues, Brews & Barbecue Festival.

The City of Allentown Department of Parks & Recreation will open Jordan and Irving swimming pools for the 2016 season on Saturday, June 11.

Traffic on Hamilton Street in the city of Allentown will be reduced to one lane from Eighth Street to Seventh Street from 8am to 5pm on Wednesday, June 8 and Thursday, June 9.

Northbound traffic on the Eighth Street Bridge in the city of Allentown will be detoured from 11am to 3pm on Monday, June 6.

The City of Allentown Department of Parks and Recreation will present the next installment of the 2016 Movies in the Park series On Friday, June 3 with “The Good Dinosaur” beginning at dusk in Union Terrace Park.

Traffic on Liberty Street in the city of Allentown from 17th Street to St. Cloud Street will be reduced to one lane on Tuesday, May 31 and Wednesday, June 1 from 7am to 5pm.
