The City of Allentown Department of Parks and Recreation’s opening of the 2017 Movies in the Park season on Friday, May 12 is being postponed. The scheduled showing of “Star Wars: Rogue One,” starring Felicity Jones and Diego Luna is being rescheduled for Friday, May 26 at Union Terrace Park amphitheater at Union & St. Elmo streets.

The Friday, May 12 Royalaires Concert scheduled for Cedar Beach Park is also being postponed. No new date has been set.

Both events are being postponed due to the Friday evening inclement weather forecast.
