Eight Allentown police officers were celebrated this morning during a promotion ceremony in City Council Chambers.

Mayor Matt Tuerk and Police Chief Charles Roca presided as officers Stephen Milkovits, Matthew Karnish, Joseph Iannetta, Leonard Fritzinger, Stephen Rosenberger, Neil Battoni, William Skriletz, and Stephen Fiorillo to the oath of office and received their department badges.

Stephen Milkovits was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant in December 2022. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Kutztown University.

Matthew Karnish was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant in December 2022. He holds an Associate of Arts degree in Criminal Justice Administration from Lehigh Carbon Community College.

Joseph Iannetta was promoted to the rank of Sergeant in December 2022. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from La Salle University.

Leonard Fritzinger was promoted to the rank of Sergeant in December 2022. He holds an Associate of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from Lehigh Carbon Community College.

Stephen Rosenberger was promoted to the rank of Sergeant in December 2022. He attended Northampton Community College.

Neil Battoni was promoted to the rank of Sergeant in December 2022. He attended Northampton Community College and is a U.S. Army Veteran.

William Skriletz was promoted to the rank of Sergeant in December 2022. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Accounting from Moravian College.

Stephen Fiorillo was promoted to the rank of Sergeant in February 2023. He attended Lackawanna College.

 

Ocho policías de Allentown fueron homenajeados esta mañana durante una ceremonia de promoción en las Cámaras del Concejo Municipal.

El alcalde Matt Tuerk y el jefe de policía Charles Roca presidieron mientras los policías Stephen Milkovits, Matthew Karnish, Joseph Iannetta, Leonard Fritzinger, Stephen Rosenberger, Neil Battoni, William Skriletz, y Stephen Fiorillo tomaron el juramento del cargo y recibieron las insignias de sus departamentos.

Stephen Milkovits fue ascendido al rango de teniente en diciembre de 2022. Tiene una licenciatura en Ciencias en Justicia Criminal de la Universidad de Kutztown.

Matthew Karnish fue ascendido al rango de teniente en diciembre de 2022. Tiene un título de Asociado en Artes en Administración de Justicia Penal de Lehigh Carbon Community College.

Joseph Iannetta fue ascendido al rango de Sargento en diciembre de 2022. Tiene una Licenciatura en Justicia Penal de la Universidad La Salle.

Leonard Fritzinger fue ascendido al rango de sargento en diciembre de 2022. Tiene un título de Asociado en Artes en Justicia Criminal de Lehigh Carbon Community College.

Stephen Rosenberger fue ascendido al rango de sargento en diciembre de 2022. Asistió a Northampton Community College. Neil Battoni fue ascendido al rango de sargento en diciembre de 2022. Asistió a Northampton Community College y es veterano del ejército de EE. UU.

William Skriletz fue ascendido al rango de sargento en diciembre de 2022. Tiene una licenciatura en Sociología y Contabilidad de Moravian College.

Stephen Fiorillo fue ascendido al rango de sargento en febrero de 2023. Asistió a Lackawanna College.
