The historic, 1200-seat Miller Symphony Hall is the premier performing arts facility in Allentown. Built around 1896 as the Central Market Hall, the structure was converted to a theater in 1899. Balcony renovations began this summer. The Mission of the Allentown Symphony Association is “to provide a first-class symphony orchestra and hall, quality performing arts, and cultural education in partnership with the community.”

PPL Center, at Seventh & Hamilton Streets, is a 10,000 seat concert venue that opened in September 2014. Global Spectrum is handling the day-to-day management of the arena, including booking, scheduling, marketing, maintenance and staffing. Carrie Underwood, The Eagles, Neil Diamond, Journey and Santana are among the acts that have packed the arena. Elton John is bringing his limited engagement tour to PPL Center in September.
