Allentown, PA 18102 February 14, 2019: Inspired by the Night Many artists
believe they do their best work when the rest of the world is still. How do we
psychologically, emotionally, and intellectually perceive the night? Does it
remind us of moonlit walks or ghost stories or does it just provide the
backdrop to wonderful dreams? Dr. Holly Roadfeldt will perform and discuss
several musical interpretations of the night through the music of Oscar
Peterson, Robert Schumann, Amy Beach, Frédéric Chopin, and Kirk O'Riordan.
