Street carolers will be making two special appearances in Downtown Allentown this holiday season!

Allentown’s 19th season of Lights in the Parkway opens Friday, November 28 at 5:30pm in Lehigh Parkway.

A terrific turnout and fantastic performances marked the 2014 Allentown Halloween Parade which marched through the streets of the city on Sunday, October 19.

The lineup is set for the 2014 Allentown Halloween Parade! The parade will step-off from the Allentown Fairgrounds on Sunday, October 19 at 2:00pm. It will proceed on 17th Street to Hamilton Street and will conclude at Ninth Street.

The City of Allentown’s new LifeTrail Club walking site is up and running. Mayor Ed Pawlowski hosted a kick-off event this morning at Trexler Park.

Crews from the City of Allentown Parks Department will begin the process of planting 12 Willow Oak trees in the 800 and 900 blocks of Hamilton Street this week.

The 2014-2015 fall and winter edition of Adventure Allentown will be on the street this week!

The spray park at Allentown’s Fifth and Liberty streets playground will remain open through this weekend, and will be closed for the season as of Monday, September 15.
