City Council plans to adopt legislation next month that recodifies the city’s ordinances.

The Streets Department will be placing a leveling course of asphalt on American Parkway requiring daytime closures from Hamilton Street through the intersection of Gordon Street on Tuesday, Nov 9 and Wednesday, Nov 10.

Mayor Ray O’Connell, city, and state officials cut the ribbon this afternoon to open the city’s new Jordan Park Skatepark.

The Allentown Health Bureau will hold clinics to administer the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine to children ages 5-to-11 by appointment only on Monday, November 8 and Tuesday, November 9 at the Agri-Plex at the Allentown Fairgrounds.

Skateboarders are invited to attend grand opening festivities Saturday, November 6 for the city of Allentown’s new Jordan Skatepark.

Walnut Street in will be closed from 10th Street to 9th Street starting Monday, November 1, 2021, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday for the next two months.
