Thousands of participants are expected in Allentown’s Cedar Beach Park on Saturday, October 5 for The Color Run™ 5k – Lehigh Valley. All the fun begins at 9am.

The Color Run™, also known as the Happiest 5k on the Planet, is a unique paint race that celebrates healthiness, happiness, individuality, and giving back to the community.

Waves of runners will be started on the course every few minutes. Participants are urged to come early and do some team stretching before the run during the pre-race party!

The Color Run™ visited more than 50 cities last year with more than 600,000 participants.

The Color Run™ is a for-profit company that partners with charities. Its global partner is Global Citizen; a curator of charities with wide reaching abilities whose main goal is to end extreme poverty. Locally, The Color Run™ will be working with the Allentown School District Foundation.
