Weather permitting, traffic restrictions will be in effect next week on the Eighth Street Bridge in the City of Allentown.

Lane closures are scheduled beginning Monday, November 6, possibly continuing through Thursday, November 9. Work hours will be 9am to 3pm. One lane of traffic will be maintained in both directions at all times.

A PennDOT contractor will be making permanent repairs to a few small, localized areas on the bridge deck that were patched previously. The majority of the work will occur in the southbound lane.
