The planned City of Allentown Skate Park at Jordan Park will be the subject of a community meeting this week.

Micah Shapiro, from Grindline of Seattle, the firm that was awarded the contract to design the skate park, will present preliminary design concepts and listen to feedback and input from skaters and bikers on Wednesday, October 11 at 6:30pm at the Alternative Gallery at 707 N. 4th Street. Attendees are invited to check out some potential skate park concepts and offer their feedback.

The skate park will be located on the former clay tennis courts at Jordan Park. A final design is anticipated by next spring.
