"Spectre" Rescheduled for August 20

The city of Allentown Department of Parks and Recreation’s Movies in the Park series showing of “Spectre” has been rescheduled for Saturday, August 20 at West Park. The show was originally scheduled for Saturday, August 13, but was postponed due to inclement weather.

This PG-13 rated movie starting Daniel Craig follows James Bond on a rogue mission where he meets Lucia, the beautiful and forbidden widow of an infamous criminal. Bond infiltrates a secret meeting and uncovers the existence of the sinister organization known as SPECTRE. Bond covertly seeks out Madeleine Swann, who may hold the clue to untangling the web of SPECTRE. As Bond ventures towards the heart of SPECTRE, he learns a chilling connection between himself and the enemy he seeks.

The approximately 150 minute show will begin at dusk (approximately 8:00pm).

The movie will be preceded by an installment of the Parks and Recreation Department Summer Concert Series at West Park featuring the Allentown Band performing at 7:00pm.
