"Finding Nemo" at Cedar Beach

05/14/2015

The City of Allentown Department of Parks and Recreation will present the first installment of the 2015 Movies in the Park series with “Finding Nemo,” starring Albert Brooks, Ellen DeGeneres, and Alexander Gould on Friday, May 15. The movie will be screened at Cedar Beach Park and will begin at dusk!

“Nemo (Voice of Alexander Gould), an adventurous young clownfish, is unexpectedly taken from his Great Barrier Reef home to a dentist's office aquarium. It's up to his worrisome father, Marlin, (Albert Brooks) and his friendly but forgetful regal blue tang fish, Dory, (Ellen DeGeneres) to bring Nemo home -- meeting vegetarian sharks, surfer dude turtles, hypnotic jellyfish, hungry seagulls and more along the way.”

This movie is rated G and runs for 100 minutes. The rain date for this presentation of “Finding Nemo” is Saturday, May 16.

Before the start of the movie there will be a free family story time at the park. Come listen to a bilingual story presented by the Literacy Center of Allentown!
