Allentown Health Bureau Offers Flu Vaccine

The Allentown Health Bureau is offering free flu vaccine clinics over the next two weeks while supplies last. The vaccinations will be free to the public for individuals 6 months of age and older. There are no residency or insurance requirements and no appointment is needed.

The clinics are scheduled as follows:

• 1:30 – 5:00 PM, Friday, December 12 at the Allentown Health Bureau, 245 N. Sixth St., Allentown.
• 3:00 – 5:00 PM, Thursday, December 18 at East Side Youth Center, 1140 E Clair St, Allentown.
• 9:00 – 11:00 AM, Friday, December 19 at East Side Youth Center, 1140 E Clair St, Allentown.
The vaccines are being provided through a donation by Lehigh Valley Health Network.

Note: Anyone with a fever should not get vaccinated. Anyone with an egg allergy should go to their doctor.

The Vaccine Information Sheet and Consent Form can be downloaded and filled out prior to arriving at the clinic.  This will help ensure a shorter wait time.  A Spanish version is also available.

For more information, contact the Allentown Health Bureau (610) 437-7760.
