Mayor Matt Tuerk is announcing Connor Corpora as the newest member of the Mayor’s Office team to serve as Executive Secretary to the Mayor starting January 24.

Corpora most recently served as the Lehigh Valley Regional Manager for U.S. Senator Bob Casey for the past six years. In that position he was the Senator’s liaison to various government, community, and constituent groups in the greater Lehigh Valley region.

As Executive Secretary to the Mayor, Corpora will act as a liaison and an extension of the Mayor’s office in both City Hall and in the community, working collaboratively with regional and city partners. He will be the official representative for the Mayor on several boards and committees, including the Discover Lehigh Valley Board among others.

“Connor’s years of experience with Senator Casey’s office makes him the perfect candidate to serve in this capacity in the Mayor’s office,” said Tuerk. “He knows Allentown and the Lehigh Valley and is looking forward to getting even better acquainted with our residents, businesses, and stakeholders in Allentown.”

Corpora is a graduate of Easton Area High School and holds a degree in Political Science from Penn State University.

 

El alcalde Matt Tuerk está anunciando a Connor Corpora como el nuevo miembro del equipo de la oficina del Alcalde para servir como Secretario Ejecutivo del Alcalde a partir del 24 de enero.

Corpora recientemente se desempeñó como gerente regional del Valle de Lehigh para el senador estadounidense Bob Casey durante los últimos seis años. En ese puesto, él fue el enlace del Senador con varios grupos gubernamentales, comunitarios y constituyentes en la región del Gran Valle de Lehigh.

Como Secretario Ejecutivo, Corpora actuará como enlace y extensión de la oficina del Alcalde tanto en el Ayuntamiento como en la comunidad, trabajando en colaboración con grupos regionales y de la ciudad. Será el representante oficial del alcalde en varias juntas y comités, incluyendo la junta de Discover Lehigh Valley, entre otras.

Corpora se graduó de Easton Area High School y tiene una licenciatura en Ciencias Políticas de Penn State University.
